This Christmas, Huntsman Savile Row have brought a ‘design your own tweed’ competition to the sartorial aficionado, for a chance to win a bespoke jacket made from the winner’s own tweed design.

Huntsman is the house of bespoke tweed. Their signature cloth for more than a decade, is known throughout the bespoke world for its bold, distinct checks and rich, earthy colour tones. Ordinarily one can have their own bespoke tweed piece made, either from existing vintage tweeds or their own personalised tweed.

Huntsman commission and weave all their Tweeds on the Isle of Islay in Scotland, working with one of the world’s oldest mills that use the best raw Scottish raw woollen yarn. Their tweeds so iconic that many customers consider themselves a part of Huntsman’s elite – a particularly tasteful sartorial club. Praised and adored for its versatility, a Huntsman Tweed Jacket can be worn in either town or country, to cocktail receptions and countryside suppers alike – and yet it remains suitably hard wearing and functional.
To enter the competition, you should follow these steps:
- – Select one of the tweed designs pictured just below (available to download here)
- – Apply your desired colour scheme to your design of choice
- – Take a picture of your finished design and post it on Instagram making sure you both use the hashtag #huntsmantweed2016 and tag the image with @huntsmansavilerow

A selection of 20 tweeds will be shortlisted from the most liked posts until 31st January 2017. A panel of leading elegant ladies and gentlemen will then choose the ultimate winner over lunch at Huntsman in February 2017. The winner will see his/her tweed come into production and will receive a bespoke jacket of their own creation.
