Discovering the Caudwell Collection

By Louise Prieto
As I strolled into the Parc du Cap Penthouse, I immediately enquired as to whether I could stay forever!

What else can one say when one is whisked from the exclusive underground parking, straight up to the luxury Penthouse, seamlessly connecting you to the impressive living room with a view to utterly die for, as you gaze out of the huge expanse of glass.

Up another level and you’re treated to a private infinity pool, a blissfully relaxing area for lounging, sipping sundowners and opulent dining, or in my case – sunrise yoga. If heaven is a place on earth, then I had discovered it.

Founded by the hugely successful, charismatic captain of industry, John Caudwell, the Caudwell collection comprises some of the most desirable locations in the world, and the new development in Cap d’Antibes, on the French Riviera, is truly sublime.

Only moments from the beach, Parc du Cap comprises two, five storey buildings set within beautiful landscaped gardens. The development consists of 78 apartments, ranging from one to three-bedrooms and ten stylish penthouses.  All properties are appointed with carefully sourced exotic materials and finishes of exceptional quality, married together by their in-house interior designer.

If this was not enough, you can saunter down to the outdoor pool, which is an oasis of calm offering thoughtfully manicured lawns and a chorus of bird sound. I personally opted for some cardio time in the remarkably well-equipped gym, featuring state of the art machines, free weight equipment and a separate yoga room.

This strenuous activity was rewarded by a visit to the in-house spa, with its oversized pool, featuring massaging jets, a jacuzzi and a swim resistance machine. However, for a proper pamper, I opted for a winning combination of – the hammam, sauna and ice room. I was even afforded the luxury of a snooze in the sun, on plush loungers, before tearing myself away to prepare for the evening festivities at the famous and glamourous Hotel du Cap.

Again, can I please stay forever?

Les Oliviers

I also had the absolute privilege of visiting the very exclusive Les Oliviers development a stone’s throw away from Parc du Cap, which is so exquisitely calm you would think you are miles away from a city center.

Situated within the grounds of Parc du Cap are a further two, four-bedroom luxury villas; Villa St George and Villa Margaux.  Each enjoy their own swimming pool, garden, private car parking and benefit from the full range of facilities offered by the development.

These developments are a heaven in the heart of Cap d’Antibes, nestled 5 mins walking distance from Juan Les Pins and a short stroll to Antibes old town. Antibes is well known for its daily markets, the famous Picasso museum and amazing selection of gourmet restaurants.

Just some of the features include:

  • 24hr security and concierge service
  • All apartments benefit from terraces or gardens
  • Penthouses include private rooftop pool terraces
  • Private Spa with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, treatment rooms, ice room, jacuzzi, hammam, and full gymnasium
  • Landscaped gardens and resident’s tennis court
  • Private and secure underground parking and separate storage room
  • Moments from the beach and restaurants
  • View of the Cote d’Azur
