From Private Party to Global Phenomenon: The Founders Behind SUNSET

What started in 2013 as an intimate beach party among friends has since evolved into SUNSET, a globally recognized celebration held annually during the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco. Behind this transformation are Monaco-based entrepreneurs Thomas Peeters and Cédric Houdrouge, the creative duo redefining what it means to party on the Riviera.

Now entering its 12th edition, SUNSET seamlessly blends music, art, gastronomy, and seaside elegance, drawing over 7,000 guests over three days. With a presence now expanding beyond Monaco – including plans for Miami – Thomas and Cédric continue to push the limits of what an event can be.

Thomas, a seasoned event producer and consultant, brings vision and global experience. Cédric, a fashion-forward, globe-trotting music enthusiast, curates the vibe down to the last beat. Together, they are also co-founders of the acclaimed MOGA Festival in Morocco, one of Africa’s largest music events.

“Our goal has always been to create something that feels both exclusive and open – a celebration of life, culture, and creativity,” says Thomas.

SUNSET is not just an event – it’s a movement, born in Monaco and now inspiring the world.
