The luxury lifestyle show has been chosen as the platform for the world’s newest and most luxurious cruise liner – Silver Muse – to be christened in Monaco on the eve of Top Marques on April 19th.
• At 40,700 ton, Silversea’s Silver Muse is much heavier than all of the supercars ever exhibited at the Monaco auto show put together – the average supercar is 1,400 kg.
• The ship boasts the most sumptuous staterooms ever seen before on a cruise liner measuring a staggering 1,572 square feet – some 200 square feet larger than the average French apartment!
• Silver Muse will have an unprecedented eight restaurants onboard from a Relais & Chateau venue to a jazz club Silver Note. There will also be a pool-side alfresco option.
• Top Marques press are to be given exclusive access to the world’s newest and most luxurious liner during the first day of the show.
Silver Muse will be officially baptized in the Port of Monaco on Wednesday April 19th, just hours before the opening of the 14th edition of Top Marques, running from April 20th to 23rd April at the Grimaldi Forum. Visitors to Top Marques will be able to catch a glimpse of the elegant new cruise line, which will be docked a short shuttle-drive away from the luxury show before she heads off on her maiden voyage to the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
Managing director of Top Marques Manoj Bairstow said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Silver Muse to Top Marques; she is without any doubt the largest luxury product we have ever had amongst our exhibitors.
Steven Saltzman, director of Top Marques said: “Top Marques has a tradition for identifying best in class and Silver Muse will be at the summit of cruising on day one, marrying the elegance of European service values with Italian style. We’re elated to allow access to Top Marques accredited press to visit the ship on day one of Top Marques too.”
Meanwhile Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, Executive Chairman of Silversea Cruises, said: “Silversea is honored to be a partner of such an exclusive international event. Top Marques is the perfect occasion to celebrate with all the participants the important milestone for the company that is the launch of our new ship Silver Muse.”
Silver Muse is the newest flagship for the small-ship luxury line Silversea, a family-run company based in Monaco which already dominates the ultra-exclusive cruise market with its fleet of eight ‘boutique’ vessels.
With a reputation for offering a personalized style of travel unrivalled anywhere else in the world, Silversea’s newest liner is already making waves as the most luxurious ship being launched onto the market this year.
Capable of welcoming 596 guests on board, Silver Muse will be the biggest liner in the Silversea’s fleet, with the highest number of large suites and space-per-guest ratio.
• However, in general cruising terms Silver Muse is still considered a boutique ship, and the most intimate in the ultra-luxury marketing ensuring a tailor-made experience shaped around needs and preferences of each guest.
No attention to detail has been spared on the new ship, built by Fincantieri in Italy, with all guests having access to their own personalized butler service and all but a few suites boasting their own private balconies.
Silver Muse will also offer an unprecedented number of dining options with eight restaurants, showcasing Silversea’s commitment to the first-class gastronomy onboard. Restaurants include La Dame, a Relais & Chateau venue, a jazz club called Silver Note and Hot Rocks, an alfresco restaurant by the pool where passengers grill their own seafood and meats. •
While Silver Muse is without doubt the largest ‘world premiere’ lined up for Top Marques 2017, there are plenty of other innovations confirmed for what Bloomberg has billed ‘the ultimate car show’ including at least six supercars.
Tickets start at €36 for Saturday or Sunday, whilst Premium Multi-day Passes which include a three-course meal in the Top Marques Monaco restaurant, cost €250 for the four days.
Tickets can be purchased at www.topmarquesmonaco.com or directly from the Grimaldi Forum at www.grimaldiforum.com
