SHOW NEWS – AUTUMN 2015

With just over seven months to go, Prestige London and The London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show is developing into what should be a truly extraordinary event. The 2016 event will feature a whole host of exciting new developments to enhance both the enjoyment and success of the event, some of which are detailed in our Autumn Show News.

Recent developments at the event include:

* Better Show Dates in May:

Now held early in May 2016, the event now avoids the Easter holidays when many visitors are away on vacation. With the warmer and fine weather usually experienced in May, this also allows us to create a whole new feature to the show, namely ‘The River Thames Terrace’, where a variety of super cars and other displays will feature alongside a beautiful outside Seafood & Champagne Bar.

* Visual Presentation & Site Navigation

The 2016 event will feature a much enhanced visual presentation of the two event venues, with far greater signage and transportation links between the two venues and much greater exterior decoration.

* Strategic Marketing

Strategic agreements with several new highly visual Media Partners are already in place, including with

The Daily Telegraph, the UK’s most well-read ‘broadsheet’, with a daily print circulation of 2.3 Million readers and 21 Million monthly online readers. With the explosion of social media, the event now has a dedicated team responsible for promoting the event purely through the digital and social media channels.

* Seafood & Champagne Bars

Prominent among the new event changes are three new social & dining areas. Partnering with one of London’s top dining establishments, the 2016 event will feature two ‘Seafood & Champagne Restaurants’, one on the popular Mezzanine Level and the other outside overlooking the River Thames. In addition another Champagne Bar & Main Bar also located on the Mezzanine will overlook the River Thames from inside.

* Cutting Edge Seminars & Private Receptions

With the addition of The Upper Gallery to the event, discussions are underway for a range of cutting-edge seminars to be held on a variety of topics. In association with The Daily Telegraph, the multi-sectioned seminar on ‘Owning & Managing Luxury Assets’, which will be promoted in Britain’s most popular luxury ‘broadsheet’ in the weeks before the event, will undoubtably be a major draw, while private receptions held at the Show will now have a wonderful venue overlooking both the event and the River Thames.

* Fashion Shows & Couture Boulevards

Also using the Upper Gallery, a full-scale luxury fashion show is now planned by our Fashion Partner UFFR. Featuring some of the world’s top designers, this is being covered by Fashion TV and will be broadcast to over 160 countries worldwide. In addition a row of leading jewellers and fashion houses will present the latest designs on the Main Floor.

* St Katharine Docks Luxury On-Water Show

Luxury Yachts, Superyachts, Luxury Sports Boats, RIB’s and Tenders, plus much more…

For 2016, with the help and support of the new owners of St Katharine Docks, the presentation levels of this part of the event is being developed hugely. With far greater signage and transport links between the two venue and an on-water ‘Private Reception’ Dock’, the event will also extensively use the natural availability of the fine restaurants and bars surrounding the venue. Featuring Luxury Yachts, Sports Boats, luxury RIB’s and custom tenders, this will be the place to see magnificent craft on the water.
