So as an Easter present I received membership to the The London Sock Club, a sock club I hear you ask? Well it’s actually a really clever idea. Pick your three socks, for example, and pay up front, and have them delivered to your door once a month. Its a great treat to look forward to throughout the year, and what’s more they are fantastic quality, in contemporary colours and designs, while taking inspiration from the Victorian heritage found in gentleman’s clothing.The company motto ‘You may be born to be a man, but you must desire to be a gentleman‘ is a great one, and really rings true in everything they do.

The inspiration began with five stylish, elegant and rather well-to-do Victorian gentlemen. Each hailed from a different corner of the British Empire, but were captured together in a unique image dated 1883. After being passed down with a collection of Victorian artefacts, it sparked an intriguing journey back to a time of true elegance, style and the British gentleman. It was in the heart of one of London’s oldest markets, made famous by its beautiful Victorian design, that the initial idea for London Sock Co. was born.’
