A city-wide celebration of horology returns to London, 2-6 June 2026. By Natalie Robinson
London Watch Week returned from 2–6 June 2026, bringing together leading watchmakers, collectors and industry voices for a city-wide programme of events across the capital. The core programme ran from 3–6 June, with additional moments and partner activations throughout the week. Positioned at the intersection of craftsmanship, culture and collector demand, the event continues to establish London as a key global destination for horology. From High Complications to the Gala Reception with Zenith at BMW Park Lane, plus a curated selection of boutique events, the programme reflects a city-wide celebration of watchmaking at its most refined and contemporary. London Watch Week officially launched on Wednesday, 3rd June, in the evening, in collaboration with Subdial. Hosted at their Clubhouse, the event welcomed guests as part of the brand’s Summer Watch Meet, bringing together Subdial’s community alongside London Watch Week’s network of press, media and enthusiasts. The space is created as a home for watch lovers to appreciate, discuss and get hands-on with the most collectable references.
HIGH COMPLICATION SHOWCASE, JAMES PURDEY & SONS, MAYFAIR
London Watch Week opened with a landmark moment on Wednesday, 3rd June: a High Complication Showcase hosted at Purdey’s historic Mayfair flagship. The showcase presented an extraordinary collection of high-complication timepieces from some of the world’s most prestigious Maisons, including A. Lange & Söhne, IWC Schaffhausen, Montblanc, Panerai, Piaget, and Vacheron Constantin. Each timepiece was selected to represent the pinnacle of horological craft, spanning tourbillons, minute repeaters, perpetual calendars, rattrapantes and astronomical complications, offering collectors rare, close-up access to some of the most technically accomplished watches in the world.
Thursday, 4th June marked the pinnacle of the week with the London Watch Week Gala Reception in association with Zenith, the partner behind this year’s gala, hosted at BMW Park Lane. The evening brought together collectors, press, cultural figures, and brands for a large-scale celebration of watchmaking.
During Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, ZENITH unveiled the CHRONOMASTER Sport Skeleton, the latest expression of the iconic El Primero and one of the most compelling new releases of the year. Through its open-worked sapphire dial, the skeletonised architecture of the El Primero 3600SK is revealed: its column wheel finished in blue and the horizontal clutch architecture are complemented by the signature tri-colour counters in grey, anthracite and blue – a direct reference to the original 1969 calibre. Beating at 5Hz and measuring to 1/10th of a second, it is precision made visible. The watch is available in four versions: two in stainless steel with black or green ceramic bezels, one in 18-carat rose gold, and a limited edition of 10 pieces set with baguette-cut diamonds. All stainless steel versions feature the new ZENCLASP™ folding clasp, which has been in development for 3 years. “Zenith is proud to partner with London Watch Week for the second consecutive year, an event that has established itself as a meaningful platform for watchmaking today. We are pleased to return and to present our latest CHRONOMASTER creations, reflecting the culture of precision and the level of craftsmanship that defines the Manufacture.” Benoît de Clerck, CEO of Zenith Watches

Alongside its core programme, London Watch Week presented a series of brand-led activations that offered more intimate experiences for collectors and enthusiasts. These included an event at Oris’s boutique, bringing the spirit of Holstein to London through a dedicated showcase of the brand’s heritage and in-house watchmaking. Featuring a curated exhibition, interactive elements exploring Oris calibres, and a hosted talk with senior members of the brand, offering guests a deeper insight into the world of independent Swiss watchmaking.
British jeweller Pragnell showcased the Pragnell Bray Origins Clock at their Mayfair showroom following its inaugural preview at Dumfries House, the home of the King’s Foundation. Designed by jeweller Charlie Pragnell and brought to life by master clockmaker Bob Bray, this magnificent piece of design and engineering artistry pays homage to John Harrison’s revolutionary H1 Marine Chronometer and offers a rare insight into British horological heritage, ingenuity, and craftsmanship. Alongside the clock, Pragnell showcased a curated selection from independent high horology houses. Additional boutique-led events and brand collaborations were announced in the lead-up to the week. The event also welcomed partners for 2026, including Sipsmith, BMW, CollectorSphere, Luxury London, The Luxury Report and The Real Time Show.
