Cristina Egger’s Salon of Excellence returns to Pitti Uomo

During the days of Pitti Uomo 103, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Gaddi of NH Collection, the awaited appointment of the “Salon of Excellence” took place, in collaboration with Pitti Immagine Uomo and presented by DeGorsi Luxury Consulting.

Cristina Vittoria Egger, the founder of the Salon of Excellence, for years a fixed presence in the Pitti calendar, with always new emerging talents and a careful selection of exclusive brands all ‘made in Italy’ ranging from handcrafted accessories to made-to-measure fit for men and haute couture for women, including jewelry and handbags.

The response from insiders and the public was excellent, filling the historic premises of Palazzo Gaddi. Mirco Giovannini, guest designer of the event, presented the Knitwear Cloud Couture collection, the new e-couture project sustainability combines on the one hand the Knit Luxury Couture collection, inspired by the volumes of the 50s, with forays into the “futurism” of the 2000s, on the other the CLOUDS capsule, in which the universe of the shirt is explored infinitely through a pure exercise in the exaltation of femininity thanks to the union of the thinnest and most ethereal voile with pure and noble silk thread.

The top boutiques of the Camera Italiana Buyer Moda were present, including Giampiero Molteni of Tessabit and Bruna Casella of Bernardelli, who took care of selecting and rewarding the most creative of the group, who will receive the special prize, offered by DeGorsi, the event organizer owned by Cristina Vittoria Egger and Alex Dordevic.

This event marked the great return of the company after the Covid years, recording a number of attendances and events with important numbers higher than the pre-pandemic period.

A selection of handcrafted brands were present at the prestigious event: the high jewelery of Giulia Iosco, the handcrafted bags of Manira, the couture jewels of Encarnación Vergas, the cashmere scarves of Purest, the bags that become small sculptures by Sy&Vie, as well as other brands present including Chiaia Napoli, Maison Siniscalchi shirts and pants by Subito Napoli. Viola Milano presents their latest luxury lifestyle and accessories. Morittu and Marchesini tailoring present an avant-garde sartorial capsule.
