Not only do you have astonishing service, a huge range of Danish pastries galore, hot food, fruit, fresh Salmon, cold meats, French bread and fresh coffee by the pot, but you have the view – and wow, that view! Sitting over the ocean on the Fairmont balcony with nothing between you and the water but a sheet of glass.

A huge cruise ship anchored just off-shore giving a hint of perspective to the amazing vista at
breakfast time. Fresh fruit, Salmon and sunshine!
The early morning sun glimmering from the gentle waves and the horizon melting into the hills of Menton and the distant seas.

The breakfast selection at Nobu at the Fairmont is simply stunning!
Still chilly as the sun rises, guests begin to appear, some hungover from the night before, some having just been for a morning run, some just sleepy eyed – the Nobu Fairmont breakfast really is a jewel in the crown of your stay at the Fairmont Montecarlo and I recommend it to everyone lucky enough to stay in this fabulous hotel.

A Superyacht just departing Monaco port for an early morning run, the diesel engines still cold.

A chance meeting at breakfast with my lovely friend, Model and artist Louise Jensen, you can read all about Louise and her amazing artwork – click here

The early morning sun shimmering on the ocean – you just can’t beat it!
