A New Sales and Marketing Director for the Martinez Cannes

Cannes: October 23, 2018 Laetitia Pardo has joined the Hôtel Martinez team as Sales and Marketing Director. She returns to her native region after more than twenty years of work abroad, where she rose through the profession’s ranks in a variety of management positions at luxury hotels in Europe and the Middle East.

After receiving her vocational diploma from the Lycée Hôtelier Saint Louis hospitality school in Toulon in 1998, she went to London to hone her English skills and began her career in the hotel and restaurant industry as a Front Office Supervisor at the city’s venerable The Savoy Hotel.

In 2003, she joined the staff of the St Martins Lane Hotel (Morgans Hotel) as the Assistant Front Office Manager. In 2005, Laetitia forged a new path, heading to Brussels, where she would hold a series of positions with sales responsibilities at renowned properties: the legendary Hotel Metropole, the Dolce La Hulpe Hotel, and the Sofitel (Accor).

In 2011, Laetitia’s exponential rise continued in Dubai at the iconic Atlantis The Palm Hotel (Kerzner International), where she worked as Associate Director of Sales. She then quickly moved to the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at the Bonnington Jumeirah (WorldHotels) and Dukes Dubai(Preferred Hotels & Resorts) hotels; at the latter property, she oversaw the 2015 pre-opening planning, budgeting, and tools.

Laetitia returned to Europe in 2016 to handle sales orders for the luxury resort complex in Costa Navarino, Greece, divided into two hotels operated by Marriot: The Westin Resort and The Romanos Resort (A Luxury Collection).

Back home in the South at the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes

With a wealth of international professional experience gained at major luxury hotel groups, Laetitia Pardo, now a married mother of two children, returned to the South of France, her native region in her home country, to become part of the Hôtel Martinez staff this past summer.

The Martinez, which joined Hyatt Hotels in 2013, became part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt this past spring. The brand change took place upon the hotel’s grand reopening after a major, 18-month renovation project entailing four months of complete closure.

Today, Laetitia is living a professional dream come true, making her contribution to this fabled property, helping pen a new chapter in the Martinez story, all to optimally reposition the hotel in sales, marketing, and communications by inspiring and energizing those who keep the Martinez legend alive and thriving.
